For an international organization in the automotive industry we are looking for a Network Administrator who provides technical support and liaise with users. The new colleague will assist in the design and implementation of new facilities. Keeping the Windows server based LAN, the iSeries servers, the client P.C. and software, Notes/Domino clients, Voice communication and Video Conferencing running effectively.
Main tasks
• Arrange physical security of server room, access to systems and applications, not authorizations;
• Strictly follow J-Sox procedures for daily System Checks and Incident reporting and other H.Q. initiated procedures;
• Active role in KMEU projects like BI, CRM, VoIP, Video Conferencing and alike;
• Install client P.C./laptop software and telephone set;
• Maintain Windows servers, running on VMWare, maintain Active Directory, support iSeries operation;
• Operates the TSM back-up server;
• Resolves technical problems;
• Assists in implementation of new applications;
• Checks if problems are solved properly;
• Checks network operations;
• Checks security and back-up maintenance;
• Registers results of network operations.
The network administrator is responsible for assuring compliance to all rules, regulations and procedures and keeping evidence as prescribed in these procedures for auditing purposes. He or she reports to the Manager ICT, administration and branch support.

We are looking for a communicative network administrator who provides technical support and plays an active role in all kinds of projects.
• Vocational training in Information Technology;
• Well experienced in security matters like malware control and firewall configuration on Nokia and Checkpoint;
• Speaks, reads and writes in English and Dutch language;
• Knowledge of Windows, iSeries, Domino-Notes on client level, TSM, Active Directory, VMWare, networking;
• Willingness to obtain lacking and new knowledge by following internal and external trainings;
• Preferably 2 years working experience in IT;
• Ability to visit other locations. |

The terms of employment are excellent. The starting salary is depending on the experience of the candidate, somewhere between € 2.350 - € 3.000 bruto (for 37,5 hours). There are also many other benefits:
