Role

Our client is a multinational in monitoring and displays sharpening its European strategy. The company has been succesfull in representing product lines of A brands in the electronics industry.

For a number of assigned EMEA countries this sales manager will plan and excecute the sales strategy for these product lines. Of course with the local salesteams.
He or she will be responsible for the bottom line business results of the assigned key countries.

This position reports to the Signage Sales Director EMEA, with a dashed line report to the Global Vice President Signage.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. Planning:

This position will work directly and closely with the assigned key Signage Country Sales for the following activities:
- Establishment of annual, quarterly, and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan, plus the necessary revisions and modifications to the Plan.
- Manage all business leading indicators such as key accounts, customer portfolio, large projects, partnership, marketing and promotion activities, etc, to ensure the expected business results.
- Raise and receive resources support in time from regional office and from BU HQ

2. Execution

This position is responsible for the successful management of the needs of the assigned key countries customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies
- The Regional Sales Manager defines and manages the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of the sales personnel (as well as Agents).
- The Regional Sales Manager is expected to spend a significant portion of time in the field both with individual accounts and co-traveling with sales personnel (as well as Agents). Resulted in real-time, detailed knowledge in order to effectively drive sales of the assigned countries.
- The Regional Sales Manager is expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies. Resulted in solid and comprehensive proposal for annual business planning process.

Requirements

The position requires the following personal capabilities for acceptable performance:

• The candidate has managed both in house and field sales personnel.
• Has been a sales / business manager in the B2B industry.
• Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
• Is highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
• Is a demonstrated leader among employees.
• Is highly computer literate and uses sales database tracking programs.
• Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferable other European languages.
• Equally strong listening skills.
• Minimum 10-15 years in the industry.
• Minimum 8 years, preferably 15, as B2B account sales and sales manager.

Their European marketing and sales organization has an exclusive brand license agreement to market and sell LCD monitors. Product lines include: LCD monitors, all-in-one PC’s, public signage and monitor TV.

The organization is rapidly growing and focuses on a larger market share. The Regional Sales Manager plays a key role in this strategy.
